Summer Homeschooling Lesson Plans!
Summer Break can be tricky. Often times, we are left waking up late with no purpose, the kids are at each other's throats by noon, and us parents are left overstimulated and hiding in a closet.
In a perfect world, we want to give our children the ability to unwind after a long school year, while helping them to keep their little brains working. The best way to do this is by using things they enjoy, and hands on projects and food help tremendously! Through this method, you can easily build brief, no-stress lesson plans that will keep them engaged in literature, math, science and history, while having tons of fun.
Below are sample outlines of a standard "Summer School" week:
China Week
Ocean Week
Cave Week
Jungle Week
Kaiju/Dinosaur Week
Arctic Scandinavia Week
Space Week
Lego Week
Pirate Week
Galapagos Islands Week
Star Wars Week
Harry Potter Week
